One of the most celebrated country-folk performers of her day. Grammy nominated Singer/songwriter Iris DeMent made her debut in 1992, when her independent label offering, “Infamous Angel”, won almost universal acclaim thanks to her pure, evocative vocal style and spare heartfelt songcraft. She followed-up with 1994’s stunning “My Life” for which she was nominated for a Grammy as the Best Contemporary Folk Album.She has two additional albums: 1996’s “The Way I Should” and 2004’s “Lifeline”.
